More to Come on OPMG – Just the Start!!!

Options Media Group (OPMG) – Important Press Release Out This Morning Regarding PhoneGuard

This morning Options Media Group announced that dozens of retailers representing hundreds of stores have started selling or are in the process of training their store personnel to start selling the Company’s PhoneGuard cell and smart phone anti-virus software.  We are extremely excited about the potential of this product line for OPMG and believe that it will add meaningful revenue stream and profits for the second half of this year and for the following years.  Over the next several weeks and months we expect more positive press releases on the retail roll-out of PhoneGuard.  We believe that potentially thousand of wireless-oriented retailers will carry the product.

To recap, the Company acquired the PhoneGuard product line in April of this year.  The software is powered by technology provided by NetQin, which is the worldwide leader in mobile security with over 40 million subscribers in more than 220 countries.  Mobile security issues have become a big threat, especially with the explosive growth of smartphones.  Outside, the U.S. mobile anti-virus and anti-malware has already become a big market and the U.S. is just starting to take off.  We believe PhoneGuard has a big chance of becoming one of the leaders for the U.S. market.

OPMG has a very good risk/reward profile.  The stock has no built in value for the PhoneGuard product yet, something we believe will now change with the strong retail interest.  Also, their legacy email/SMS marketing business is doing well and they have a solid balance sheet.

We would be aggressive buyers of the stock as we see this as only the start of a strong of very positive news for this Company.  Joe Noel

With a strong balance sheet, is it pretty safe to say they are done with their dilution campaign? I believe that to be the reason we are down in the $.02 and $.03 range, that and no solid, concrete news.

Brian June 30, 2010 at 8:42 am

I don’t think I have seen the volume anywhere in the chart that would show dilution

Greg June 30, 2010 at 10:33 am

“dozens of retailers representing hundreds of stores” is vague, isn’t it?

Can’t the company disclose even ONE name? Is it because of the terms of the sales agreements? SEC rules??

How about an exact number? Heck, about an approximation in “dozens”? Is it two? Three?? Four???

If you were on the outside looking in, Joe, wouldn’t you see this PR as opaque?

ron22 June 30, 2010 at 10:52 am

Joe,

Any clues on the major wireless carriers?

thanks

Ryan June 30, 2010 at 10:54 am

Was this the concrete news so anticipated? I am long opmg and hope this flies but if it is based on this pr we go nowhere. Hopefully solid news will come soon.

Brian July 2, 2010 at 12:09 pm

Joe,

Can we get some clarification on who the retailers are. I am just curious as to what markets are being hit on the first retail run.

Chad July 5, 2010 at 1:53 pm

This PR is crap and should not have even been printed! Seriously, this is way to vague and leaves a lot to the imagination which is not good for a stock that has done nothing but go down in the recent past. Please post a real PR with real data!

Joe July 5, 2010 at 5:46 pm

Chad – We are working on getting some quotes from both uses and resellers. Joe

Joe July 5, 2010 at 5:49 pm

Brian – You are going to be seeing a lot of news on OPMG. Hoping we can get some user and retailer quotes upcoming. Joe

Rick July 6, 2010 at 12:04 pm

I would rather see nothing than another PR like the last. How can you valuate a stock on data like that? I am long on OPMG but it is frustrating that if all this good stuff is happening all we get is a bunch of generic fluff. Joe, you need to direct Scott a little.

Toro July 6, 2010 at 4:09 pm

Joe,
Who are the retailers and the hundreds of stores? I would love to stop by one and see for myself. And what ever happened to the major carrier talks? Are they done testing or are we just not going to talk about it anymore and move on? Thanks in advance.

ron22 July 7, 2010 at 3:54 am

Any clues on the major wireless carriers?

Daren July 7, 2010 at 5:45 am

Joe,
Do you still believe this stock has as much potential as you did initially 4 months back? Is the company moving forward as efficiently as you had hoped? Are they still in talks with a “major wireless carrier” or has that ended badly or perhaps been signed but not announced yet? How secure is this company? Lots of unanswered questions that make it difficult to remain positive for so long…
Thanks for your pending answers!

Joe July 7, 2010 at 10:25 am

Daren – It seems small capp CEO always over estimate what they will be able to do – OPMG has had some delays, but the retails stores are coming on line strong and a few big box guys are looking at carrying the product. I am pretty positive, but anxious for these deals to start closings so we can generate some strong interest in these shares. Joe

Joe July 7, 2010 at 10:28 am

Rick – I agree – OPMG needs more details out on the stores and how things are going. I am working to get some quotes from some of the store people. Joe

tom July 7, 2010 at 12:43 pm

so since you said nothing about major wireless carriers are we to assume that “talks” and “distribution negotiations” are no more?

Wera July 7, 2010 at 2:28 pm

hello joe,
a few questions:
- how many shares are right now outstanding? ( is there dilution?)
- how highly is ergo the marke cap?
- what is the P/E Ratio?? ( Q2 and the whole year)
- what is the Earnings Est.?
- Q2?? date??
- how many people are working for OPMG? ( 60??)
TIA :-)

Rick July 8, 2010 at 6:06 am

Joe….CEO’s overestimate? Heck yes he did! Gave us the Pep Rally of the century. Billions of billions of billions of people lining up to buy this revolutionary software? Hmmmm, not seeing any numbers to support this optimism? Heck not even a Distributor name? Lame to say the least. I am sure that Q2 numbers will include a bunch more hot air as Scott tries to convince us that the Sales are coming. I am just trying to be patient but it is painfull watching my investment go North. Can you please get him under your wing and guide him? Or if what he is saying is true provide some numbers to support this. Very hard to valuate right now.

Chad July 12, 2010 at 12:06 pm

What? No new news for OPMG? Surprise, Surprise!!!

Daren July 13, 2010 at 10:16 am

Joe,
Please give us a little more here… its been a full two weeks of no news, which in this case appears to be bad news….

Bill July 14, 2010 at 1:02 pm

I’d even take bad news at this point. At least then we’d know they’re being forthright and have SOMETHING to evaluate. Stock price aside, daily volume on OPMG is virtually nil at the moment.

Dan July 14, 2010 at 6:31 pm

Obtained some news from Phone guard today and they are really working hard to land some of these contracts. It all takes time and patience and you can best believe mine has been running thin sometimes. I would hope we hear some news in the next couple of weeks but I believe something solid will be forthcoming by the middle of August and by the holidays (x-mas) and the 1st quarter of 2011 things will be really looking good. Anyways this is what I believe and I do believe in the future of this company. We have to remember this is a penny stock and takes time to develop. If nothing else if you believe in this stock it is a great time to buy at these low prices. Joe does need to keep us up to speed or at least push them to release some information.

Joe July 14, 2010 at 11:44 pm

Dan – I agree – we need more news on OPMG. I am pushing for it – Joe

Mary July 16, 2010 at 11:31 am

I hope this company is thinking bigger than just retail stores. How are they going to compete with established companies that have already provided smartphone virus protection, like Norton. Partnering with a major wireless carrier would be great if it happens. I hope they are approaching companies that terminate employees for texting or talking while driving. I know Waste Management terminates their employees after 3 violations. Can’t they sell their software to large corporations like these?

Toro July 17, 2010 at 8:58 am

Keep pushing for more news Joe, we need it. Not much more to say.

Daren July 18, 2010 at 10:47 am

Joe -
Hi Joe. In the past you’ve stated this was a .30 cent target, highest risk/reward stock you cover, and big things were happening. How comfortable are you in restating these feelings about OPMG now that some significant time has passed? Thanks in advance for your responses :)
daren

Chad July 19, 2010 at 8:47 am

News? Why does the PPS continue to go down?

Steve July 19, 2010 at 8:55 am

I think it’s going down because no one cares about OPMG anymore. Everyone pumped this up so the company could dump the shares on us to raise money to acquire PhoneGuard rights. Now we haven’t heard anything. We’ve been robbed blind. Hopefully they have really good stuff in the works, and are waiting until they are finalized… Otherwise they just stole our cash…

ryan122112 July 20, 2010 at 6:38 am

Another week of 52 week lows? Are you still with opmg, joe? this is really looking bad. are you still happy calling 30 cents here? thank you, ryan

Mary July 20, 2010 at 11:23 am

Joe,

Tomorrow will be a week of silence from you. That’s not very promising considering both you and the company have nothing to say. Have you dumped your shares? Your reputation is increasingly becoming invaluable, Joe Noel, anything to say? Or shall your silence speak loud to your previous words of promise?

Joe July 20, 2010 at 6:16 pm

Mary – I am working to get an update on the situation. Will see what I can do to get an update out. Joe

Toro July 21, 2010 at 5:41 pm

Joe,
You have mentioned that we should put “your feet to the fire” in the past. As an analyst, you are being asked again to hold to the standards that brought you to this place and time. Answer the question for those that want to believe in your historical informational output on this stock. Do you still hold the .30 price target? Why has the stock price fallen amidst the continuing output of positive information you provide? At least give us your best opinion. Analysts are asked to respond to these questions in light of their past predictions and I am asking you to do the same for the shareholders like myself. Thanks in advance.

Mary July 21, 2010 at 8:49 pm

Joe,

I know you have a vested interest in Options Media Group at the present time, but I need reason to believe this company is not positioned for failure. What is there to reassure the shareholders that we are not being used. Your reputation is solid, but I’m starting to think you may have overstretched yourself on this one. What is there to move foward from this day on? Anything? Come on! Let’s step this up! Your reputation is on the line. You’re vested and so am I so let’s get something accomplished.

Mary July 22, 2010 at 6:48 am

And another 52 week low today…. What a disappointment. I’m cutting my losses on this one. I wish you all well, but this company is just not competent.

Chad July 22, 2010 at 8:34 am

Joe,

It is the same old tune with you…you keep saying that you are pressing for more info and yet there is still nothing out there. Have you had any discussions with Pep Rally Scott this past week? If so, what is he saying about sales? What is going on with the supposed “large carrier” that they are talking with? Come on Joe we need something here, people are starting to bail on this one and I am not sure why I have to joined them yet. This “will see what I can do to get an update out” stuff will just not work on this one.

Signed – VERY CONCERNED INVESTOR

Wera July 22, 2010 at 11:16 am

hi joe,
i would be very happy to hear something from you!!
is all okay with the company??
TIA
wera

Joe July 22, 2010 at 4:46 pm

Mary – Not really sure what to say here. I think things at the company are developing but clearly not fast enough for shareholders. I think the base business is solid and that the company has strong prospets in anti-virus and and texting while driving, but these will not happen overnight. I am pushing for the company to get more news out, but I of course am not in charge. Joe

tom July 22, 2010 at 4:54 pm

USA Today had a great article about anti-texting while driving apps…they even had a list of different companies and guess which company was not listed. I have been looking for Phone Guard and can’t find it for sale anywhere.

Joe July 22, 2010 at 4:58 pm

Toro – The base business looks strong in my opinion and there is a huge opportunity on the mobile apps market. It always seems things take more time to develop than management teams initially predict – I think this is the case here too. OPMG is still in the first inning of the mobile apps market so we need to see if Scott Frohman can get on base and score some runs. I think the anti-text software can be a huge hit. The retailers have a lot of interesting in these new products, but need to be trained on selling. I think this is currently underway. Joe

Joe July 22, 2010 at 5:34 pm

Chad – Do you realize that I am not the CEO of OPMG – Maybe you should be sending your message to Scott Frohman. I am pushing for the company to get out to investors – that is all I can do. Sorry – Joe

Paul July 22, 2010 at 8:47 pm

I kind of have to agree with Joe, the foundation is there its just a waiting game now. We need to see how q2 comes out. If this company was already established and making a lot of sales and contracts we wouldnt of got in at the price we did. Everybody wants to become rich overnight and thats not going to happen here. We need to just wait for the numbers to come out, pr on everything looks good isnt going to make the pps go anywhere. GLTA

daren July 27, 2010 at 7:44 am

Does anyone have any information about why there has been zero volume today and no trades since yesterday around 1pm? It’s a bit “off putting”. Joe, can you help us out?
daren

Larry July 27, 2010 at 8:53 am

All indications are that we will see a movement up in the second quarter financials, the stock should move back into the .05 cent range then. The lack of news is the only thing that has dragged it down, but keep in mind the company cannot announce anything that relates to financials until the second quarter financial are relaeased. Just be patient the best is yet to come. I think Joe knows more than he is saying due to disclosure rules.

Daren July 30, 2010 at 5:18 am

Larry, what “indications” are you referring to?

Daren July 30, 2010 at 5:19 am

Joe, your disappearances for days or even weeks at a time now are disheartening. Can you please communicate to us something, ANYTHING about the company’s current status?

Joe August 2, 2010 at 11:35 am

Daren – I have been here, just have not had anything to say on OPMG. I am pushing hard for news from the company. Joe
