What is Kraig Biocraft Labs up to? A Press Conference for a Tiny Biotech? Watch This Story for Developments

This announcement reinforces the thoughts we have outlined below and leads us to believe a major announcement is pending for this Company. The big question to be answered by the press conference is – What do there new animals produce?) Joe Noel

For the past two years we have been watching the activities of a small biotech company called Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, a fully reporting OTCBB company trading under the symbol KBLB. We believe there are likely to be some significant news events over the short-term that could cause the shares to rise significantly. A couple of weeks ago, the Company announced it will be hosting a press conference to discuss developments in the laboratory. We believe there is a strong chance these developments will be highly significant. These shares could be poised for a major move higher if this is the case.

Kraig Biocraft is making use of state-of-the-art genetic techniques in order to develop a transgenic silkworm capable of producing silk that contains spider silk proteins – simply put, the Company is trying to produce artificial spider silk. Very small quantities of artificial spider silk have been produced in a few laboratories around the world, but no one has yet developed techniques to produce commercially viable quantities. Kraig Biocraft is seeking to do this via the creation of a new animal – a transgenic silkworm that contains specific DNA taken from spiders so that when the silkworm spins its cocoon the resulting silk is not ordinary silkworm silk, but is rather a combination of silkworm silk and spider silk – or maybe someday, pure spider silk.

When we first heard of this effort we thought it was a bit nutty, but after many hours of research and several interviews with the scientists involved, it seems to us that obtainment of this goal is very possible. The research team is led by two top scientists. The head researcher is Dr. Malcolm Fraser from the University of Notre Dame. He is a noted scientist in this field and has developed and perfected the most important insect related gene splicing technique. Also important to this effort is Dr. Randy Lewis, of the University of Wyoming, one of the world’s foremost authorities on spider silk. This is a serious scientific team backed by both universities and a significant research staff working under these two professors. Kraig Biocraft is led by Kim Thompson, who is a lawyer by trade, but has been working in the field of genetics for the past few years. Mr. Thompson, who we have also interviewed, is a rather incredible person. He is member of the Triple Nine Society, which is a society for persons with documented genius level IQs having test above the 99.9 percentile – it is kind of a super Mensa society. We are really impressed by this entire team.

The Kraig Biocraft story is a fantastic one, in our opinion. We have spent a considerable amount of time researching the Company, the scientific and management teams, the technologies being deployed, and the markets that can be addressed. Here on the blog we have a full report addressing these areas. While we published the report approximately two years ago, the information it contains is still relevant. It is a bit technical, but we wrote the report so that most investors could understand the genetic techniques being employed. We are currently working on an updated version of the report, which we hope to publish some time before the Company hosts its press conference.

There are several things occurring that lead us to believe we could see some strong action in the price of the shares over the coming weeks and months. Here’s a run down of our thoughts.

1) The Notice of the Press Conference – The public and KBLB shareholders have not yet been informed of the date, but according to the Company’s August 24th press release, the press conference is tentatively scheduled for mid to late September. If the Company is to host a press conference in mid-September, we will likely see a press release announcing time, location, etc. in about ten days to two weeks from now.

2) A Press Conference for A Tiny Biotech with No Revenues? – We find it extremely intriguing that Kraig Biocraft will be hosting a press conference. Such events rarely occur for a company a small as Kraig Biocraft. The mere fact that they are hosting a press conference leads us to believe a significant breakthrough in the laboratory may have recently occurred that would warrant such an event. Surely, the Company is not going to call a press conference to announce a failure and it would be rather silly to host such an event to provide a simple update or to announce some minor advancement.

3) The signing on August 5th of the collaborative R&D agreement with the University of Notre Dame – Kraig Biocraft recently signed a new collaborative R&D agreement with Notre Dame. In the press release, CEO, Kim Thompson was quoted as saying, “The rate of progress and scientific development achieved over the last 12 months has exceeded our expectations. I believe that we are now ahead of our schedule time frame for R&D and product development.” We find this interesting for two reasons. The first of which is that Notre Dame is a serious force in genetic engineering and the fact that they are signing an additional R&D agreement with Kraig Biocraft leads us to believe significant progress is being made. Second, reading between the lines of Kim Thompson’s quote we can’t help but feel that this normally very quiet CEO and Company are signaling us that a major development has occurred. Less than three weeks after he makes the above statement he announces that he will host a press conference. We believe these events are very intriguing.

What to Watch for Coming Up – As is indicated above, if the Company is to host a press conference for the middle or end of September then they will likely have to make a formal announcement of the particulars soon – probably within the next two weeks. This likely upcoming announcement should give us some hints as to what the Company is up to. If the press release announcing the press conference indicates that Dr. Malcolm Fraser from the University of Notre Dame or Dr. Randy Lewis from the University of Wyoming are attending, then we would speculate that a major break through is going to be announced. If the Company is hosting the press conference on its own, then we would suspect that the announcement will likely be a relatively minor one. If however, the professors and their respective universities are involved, then we would guess that a very significant major break through in the lab has occurred, which should send these shares soaring.

Update on MDHI and YESD-Completed Filming of Infomercial
Very good news on the Medical Alarm Concepts (MDHI) and YesDTC (YESD) fronts – The filming for the infomercial concluded yesterday. The infomercial is being produced by Schulberg Media Works, which has produced some of the most successful infomercials of all time. Their clients include among others Tempur-Pedic, HBO, Sega, Time-Life, Guthy-Renker, Select Comfort, Fitness Quest, Reliant, QVC, Sharper Image, Rhino Records, Delonghi, Rossetta Stone and Sony Music.

The MDHI campaign will be a very high quality infomercial that will be released in the next few weeks. We are planning both 60-second and 120-second versions and we are very excited about the potential. Just to provide some perspective, one of the competitors, Life Alert, is easily doing tens of millions of dollars per month with an inferior product that does not allow for two-way communications through the pendant

Today’s BMGP News – Why It’s Important – Accelerates Revenue Production

This morning, Biomagnetics Diagnostics is announcing its intent to acquire a company in Lanzhou, China called New Sunshine Plastics Industry. This company is being acquired to accelerate the production of the unique, biodegradable PVA plastics technology owned by Lanzhou Sanhuan New Technology Development, Ltd., which BMGP announced its intent to acquire on July 7th.

It was originally thought that a new factory would be built to house the proprietary equipment technology that produces the PVA film product. This of course, would require considerable time and expense to achieve. The opportunity presented itself to acquire an already functioning factory facility in the same town of Lanzhou. Upon closing of the acquisition, equipment simply has to be moved across town and set up allowing production to begin over the very short term. This is an exciting development as it should allow the companies to begin fulfilling on the large government agricultural contract that has already been signed. Biomagnetics will inherit this three-year contract to produce up to 600,000 tons annually. See below for the video explaining the PVA plastics BMGP will be producing.

Over the next two weeks look for additional announcements relative to the closings of these acquisitions. Investors were clearly excited about the possibility of these acquisitions, but it is the closing and the revenue production that will really get these shares going. It appears news relative to these closing events is close at hand.

Brief updates on BMGP, MDHI and CSKH

Biomagnetics Diagnostics (BMGP) – On Friday, Biomagnetics hosted a very successful conference call featuring Dr. Basil Swanson from Los Alamos National Laboratories and BMGP CEO, Clayton Hardman. Dr. Swanson discussed some of the features and functions of the integrated optical biosensor platform being designed by the laboratory’s personnel. There’s a new video out featuring Dr. Swanson and another scientist from the lab. Expect to see patent applications, audit completion and filing with the SEC announcements very soon – and coming up rather soon, information about the first acquisition closing. Shares still significantly undervalued here in our opinion.

Medical Alarm Concepts Holdings (MDHI) – The video shoot for the infomercial has been moved up and will now occur on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Final production should be released within two weeks with a test airing on television approximately two weeks later. We believe the personal medical alarm market could be very lucrative for MDHI. Current industry leader, Life Alert, does tens of millions of dollars each month with a vastly inferior product technology that does not allow for two-way communications through the pendant. Shares recently tumbled as the Company ran out of cash to fund marketing initiatives. We have stepped in to help re-capitalize the Company and finish the infomercial marketing campaign. Stay tuned as we believe the shares could see significant advancement upon completion and its eventual airing.

Clear Skies Solar (CSKH) – Last week we received news of another contract. With about $1.8 million recognized in the first half of the year, a $20 million contract announced last month and a few additional contracts coming in over the short term, the Company is clearly well past its breakeven point of $12 million to $18 million. We expect to see a continuing flow of contract announcements through the end of this quarter.

to summarize in layman terms:
-they have not 1 but TWO assays developed for TB, and tested
-the assay can detect TB with 100 % selectivity, no false positives and can do quantitative detection
-the quantative detection for TB is up to 1/100000000 grams per ml of sample. There is no such detection capability anywhere in the world

personally my sell decision was based if the assay is developed or not. in previous PRs they stated that LANL has to develop the TB assay, and i was expecting delays. This webinar has removed all my doubts about the company. There is nothing in the world today that can detect 100% of TB samples with such a high accuracy of measurement. 1/100000000 grams per ml-do you see all these zeros? this is accuracy in pM to fM simply does not exist in any lab in the world. this i guarantee from my professional experience.

will be adding more shares on every pullback. i have no more doubts in my mind, audit is absolutely unimportant at this stage for me, this was the proof of the pudding, this is a 1 billion dollar technology.

Quick Update on Medical Alarm Concepts (MDHI)

Here is a quick update on MDHI:
1) Infomercial does in fact shoot on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Schulberg Media Works, one of YesDTC’s business partners has been selected for the shoot. This firm is one of the most successful in the industry. Check out the website to see some of their work. www.smw.tv
2) The infomercial will have two different versions – a 60-second spot and a 120-second spot.
3) Financing has recently been put into place to fully complete the spots and run media tests. I have funded much of this myself.
4) Remain convinced there is a significant market opportunity here for MDHI. Industry leader Life Alert does tens of millions each month without two-way through the pendant capability. MDHI, YesDTC and Schulberg Media works are coming at this market with a much better product – and a much better price – likely at $29.99 per month with NO long term commitment.
5) Will be back to you next week with an update on how the shoot went – shares looking much better today.

Great News on OPMG – Wireless Zone – Over 400 Stores – More to Come

Some really strong news on Options Media this morning. The more than 400 Wireless Zone stores are now carrying PhoneGuard anti-virus and will soon be carrying the anti-texting while drive products. Wireless Zone is Verizon’s largest reseller and has the ability to move a lot of product for OPMG. While we are excited about Wireless Zone, we think this is just the start. There are going to be many, many additional stores coming. As I have said before, while the anti-virus is exciting, it is the anti-texting while driving products are will be the real star for the Company. This set of news has not even begun as of yet. Now That is What I Call Good Corporate News!! – Clear Skies Solar (CSKH) – “Prepared to Move Forward Clearly and Aggressively”

Really good news on Clear Skies Solar (CSKH). As was outlined in a recent filing with the SEC, nearly all (except for on $58K) of the notes have been paid off. As we have said in the past, this aligns the interests of the former debt holders with the interests of the common shareholders. The important item relative to this release, however, is that the pay off will allow CSKH a lot a additional flexibility in the financing of new projects. When they had all that debt, they were unable to qualify for other types of financing. This meant they had to pass on lots of business. With the debt gone and the liens on the business removed, they will now be able to obtain financing for projects. This will probably result on significantly accellerating revenues – managment all but says this in the release. Some of the quotes in the release that really impress me are as follows – “Clear Skies Solar plans to aggressively accelerate its business model” – “…enables the corporation to have significantly increased flexibility in the financing of future projects allowing for acceleration in project implementations” – “….we are now in a position to move forward clearly and aggressively” – “….look forward to consistently bringing good news to our shareholders, starting in the very near future” – “We are clearly excited about our business moving forward”
